PROJECT 1 : MODERN MALAYSIAN ARCHITECTURE TIMELINE
In this project, we are required to document the timeline of a part of the Klang Valley. Our chosen part is the South-East of the Klang Valley, which covers Brickfields, Pudu, Seputeh, Taman Desa, Sungai Besi, Bandar Tun Razak and Cheras. Our findings is then analyzed and translated into a diagrammatic timeline as shown above. The South-East part of Klang Valley isn't really populated with facinating buildings and all. The area is more of a residential and commercial area. As shown in the timeline above, modern buildings started rising up since the 80's. For Sungai Besi and Cheras, the areas are mainly residential area as it has high rise residential buildings with multiple shopping complex.

REFLECTION:

The task we have been assigned was not easy as most of the buildings are either residential or commercial buildings so they are not documented. We've took quite a long time to analyze and went for a few site visits to know more about the site context as well as the architectural style although its just mainly residential and commercial buildings.
