Project 1 : FAMOus people, familiar faces

We are required to work in a group of 5 and each group will be given a master architect and one of their masterpiece as our research topic. We will need to produce a set of drawings and investigate and formulate our findings into a set of 10 analysis diagrams and 10 diagrammatic models. The models should be precise and informative to express the analysis of the ideas hidden in the project assigned. The analysis is based on, but not limited to the following:

- organization of form

- organization of space

- circulation and paths-space relationship

- spatial hierarchies

- context

- elements

process models, final models and diagrammatic analysis on Walter Groupius House.

Reflection :

For our first project, I've learned a lot about architect Walter Gropius himself and also his famous work- Groupius Hous. Through in depth research on the building based on its circulation, spatial planning, hierarchy, site context and etc, we've managed to express the analysis through diagrammatic explanations and recreate the analysis through abstract models.
